MORE ABOUT ME

From the day I found out I was pregnant with my first daughter, the one thing I knew for certain was that I wanted to breastfeed. No matter how labor went or how she got here, as long as it was safely and she was healthy, I just wanted to breastfeed. 

 

My expectations were turned upside down very quickly after she arrived. From slow weight gain, to unknown oral ties, to thrush, the challenges piled on top of one another and I quickly had to learn and adapt to things I never imagined could happen. It was in those first few weeks of life with Aubree that my passion began to form. 

Now, six years and two babies and breastfeeding journeys later, my passion and love for helping other moms navigate their experiences is more apparent than ever. My goal as a lactation counselor is to educate and empower moms to have the confidence and knowledge to succeed in their journey; no matter how that may look.
